Bactrim is a widely used antibiotic that is prescribed for a range of bacterial infections.
The aim of this study was to investigate the efficacy and safety of the combination of Bactrim with amoxicillin-clavulanate (Acl) and metronidazole (MTZ) for treating acute bacterial sinusitis (ABS) in patients with ABS. The study included 100 patients with ABS who received either Bactrim or metronidazole for six weeks.
A prospective, open-labeled, multicentre, multi-center, randomised, multicenter study was conducted at the Centre for Clinical Infectious Diseases, Department of Clinical Microbiology and Immunology, University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, Texas. Patients were randomly assigned to Bactrim or metronidazole with or without Acl.
Patients with ABS were defined as receiving Acl or metronidazole.
During the seven-year study period, all patients were diagnosed with ABS. Bactrim and metronidazole were superior to Acl in terms of treatment success and microbiological cure rates.
In patients with ABS, Bactrim is a highly effective and well tolerated combination in terms of treatment success and microbiological cure rates.

In a recent article titled, “What’s the Facts About Bactrim, and Why Do I Need It?”, we find that the most frequently prescribed antibiotics are Bactrim, Cipro, and Trimethoprim, which are among the top three antibiotics on the market in the United States. Bactrim is prescribed to treat a range of bacterial infections, including those caused by resistant bacteria.
In addition to UTIs, the medications also help to reduce the risk of UTIs. UTIs can be painful, painful, and often result in frequent and painful UTIs. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than two million people in the United States are affected by UTIs each year. UTIs can be caused by:
Urinary tract infections (UTIs): Bactrim and its generic versions, Bactrim, Cipro, and Trimethoprim, are commonly prescribed to treat UTIs caused by resistant bacteria.
Resistant bacteria: Bactrim and its generic versions, Cipro, and Trimethoprim, are effective in treating UTIs caused by these bacteria.

“They are used for urinary tract infections, and they are effective for UTIs caused by resistant bacteria.”
